Like many of you out there, I am not a fan of empty new year’s resolutions. That’s why this year I decided to write down what I’d like to release from my mind, body and soul so that I can enjoy my year, and be productive in my time, and in my own way.

Competition

I will let go of the need to compete with my peers and those I strive to be like in my business and personal life.

I will instead find joy in my own goals, actions and accomplishments. Not someone else’s.

Dependency

I will find the strength I need to let go of those things, people, and habits that bring out the worst in me.

Instead, I will find strength in what I know is genuine, honest, and healthy.
The rest is just noise. 🫶

Let Go of Dependency

Fear

I will no longer let fear of what will come, fear of the past, or fear of the present chart my course.

By choice, I will let hope, creativity, and faith guide my actions.

Struggle

The struggle for the sake of it will no longer be my default mechanism. I know that fight or flight response is caused by my past, which I no longer exist within.

I will allow the possible to become reality and release what is not meant to be.

Hesitation

Lack of trust in myself no longer serves me, and therefore I will let go of hesitation.

Rather, I will have faith that I have chosen the correct path, and will go forth!

Thank you for sharing this journey with me on Womanhood Unwrapped. Share what you’d like to release in 2023 in the comments!
